Get Your Store Holiday Ready

With the holiday period fast approaching and with everyone in lockdown throughout the country, many consumers are looking for online stores to help deliver their wonderful presents wrapped and ready for their friends and family. Get your store ready to help out your customers with our 5 easy steps.
Offer a wrapping service

Offer this as an extra product on your store so people can get the benefit of you hand wrapping their gift, taking one more thing off their mind this holiday period.
Also if you let us know that you have added this option to your store, we will get the elves to head into the backend of the site and remove our commission fee from the wrapping service when it is purchased alongside your items.
Know your last delivery dates
Make sure you know what your last delivery dates are with your preferred delivery service of choice. There is nothing worse as a store owner than knowing your gift wont make it to the customer in time for that special day.
As of writing this our local service the Royal Mail (yes we are located in the UK) has the following dates for the 2020 period cutoff.
Friday 18 December | 2nd Class and 2nd Class Signed For |
Monday 21 December | 1st Class and 1st Class Signed For and Royal Mail Tracked 48* |
Tuesday 22 December | Royal Mail Tracked 24* |
Wednesday 23 December | Special Delivery Guaranteed |
The next thing to do is enable an announcement across your store.
Log in to your store dashboard and in the menu select ‘Settings‘, then click ‘Vacation Mode‘ in the sub menu. You can then add a holiday message that will appear throughout your store.

Add some holiday cheer to your store banner.

Nothing makes you feel more festive and ready to purchase than having your site embarrassing the holiday period. This is a great time to customise your store header and logo.
Why not give your store a snowy background theme or give your logo a Santa hat. The ideas are endless.
Make your images sparkle

The age old phrase is ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ but as we all know this always happens and now alongside your new festive banner. Why not have your books surrounded by holiday cheer.
Offer a holiday sale!

You heard us correct, why not offer a little incentive for your customers to stop by your store by offering a discount code.
Head into your store dashboard and in the menu select ‘Coupons’ from here you can create a custom coupon which you can than share across social media.
