The 3 deaths of Willis Waterhouse, a western comic about a cowboy riding
off into his last sunset, and how he’s earned his 3 deaths. The front
part of the story is Willis telling his life story, how he feels earned
the glorious sunset he’s galloping towards. The second half of the book
is the lie exposed, we learn how he did his ex wife, Sarah dirty, how he
betrayed his best friend Teneca and we find out why is riding a horse,
bleeding to death in the first place. Set in the backdrop of 1850’s gold
rush California .

For fans of comics/films such as The good, the
Bad and the Ugly, any of the Magnificent Seven films, Jonah Hex, 3:10
to Yuma, anything by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, or movies scored by
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis (the other one).
The 1st in a bi monthly
series called Thirteen Shots of Whiskey, in the vein of Stray Bullets.
The second issue is called Burnt Ends and is a noir comic set in the
tail end of the 1950’s, and is full of the sleaze and scandal one
expects from a buttoned up, consersative, small town.
